How to Entertain a Toddler

Cash seems to have reverted to everything baby since the twins were born. He'll lay under their playmat, sit in the Bumbo (I'm sure all the while thinking, what's the big deal here?), etc. But two of his recent favorites are these:

Johnny Jumper: self-containing entertainment. If I want it to last even longer, I put a kids cd in the computer, play it through Media Player so it does the little laser show, and he's mesmerized and stays there even longer.
And let me tell you - that sink bath is money. Our living room/kitchen/dining room area is all just one big room. So when I'm by myself doing bedtime because Ryan isn't home yet, I can get the twins through their sink bath and then get them on the couch with their bottles while Cash is in the sink. I can clean up, burp the twins, whatever, and I don't have to waste that time just sitting in the bathroom watching Cash take a bath. Jackpot.

That is way funny. And oh my! I am the first commenter. I swear I'm always like #25 even though I check it a lot.

Oh Jen, please try to make a longer video of Cash singing! That is so precious! He is really talented...really carries a tune.

Sophie(my 3 year old)was all about the activity mat. I think I have more pics of her on it than her little sister(this was a new item to Natasha).
Cash is just adorable, enjoying a bath, singing a song.

My kids and I loved this. Twinkle twinkle little star was awesome, but I have to say our favorite part was when he bashes into the cupboard and then before he continues bouncing he closes the cupboard. Loved it.

So many great posts! Go out of town for a week and come back to all sorts of fun things to catch up on!!!! LOVE IT! The boys and I have laughed again and again with Cash running into the furniture. We think it need to be sent into Funniest Home Videos. It sure makes us laugh!!!!!

That was so funny when he crashed into the cupboard and then sheepishly shut the door. You will probably think we are lame, but we all enjoyed going back through some of your videos and watching them last night. Jan's favorite was, and still is, the "shake your bootie" post from April.

I too, love when he crashes into the cupboard. The look on his face is like "Just pretend you didn't see that part!" He's so cute.

I actually drilled holes in the top of the door frame & hung a real swing for Rebekah when she was Cash's age.
