Another Miami Welcome
Ryan made it to Miami last week. He said that his first time at church there, every talk and every meeting was on hurricane preparedness. And he found out that hurricane season is from June 1st to November 30th. Great. I'll only have to live in fear for my life half of every entire flipping year.

How long have you been visiting Utah to be saying 'flipping' year?
You guys will be in a big strong concrete building right? Those aren't the little bungalows you always see getting torn up. You should be fine.
As someone who has lived in both FL and gulf coast TX...I can tell you that
1)the media WAY over plays most hurricanes and their threats
2) you are given SOOooo much ridiculous prior notice, its actually silly how much time they give you to get out of the area that MIGHT get affected (but usually doesn't)
Last year they predicted a bunch of storms...and in the end there was NOTHING significant.
Long story short...be a little prepared and don't fear at all!!
Freezing cold or hurricanes? Hmmm... I think I'd take the hurricanes! They aren't always there and you typically know when they are coming. Besides - Wisconsin has tornadoes along with the freezing cold. And you survived Wisconsin for a year!
sorry - Trent was signed in, it's me thoough - Jenny :)
